This required 13 connections to each pack and I used these connectors (16 pin) to make them easy to assemble. I simply crimped the pins with small needle-nose pliers and then applied a drop of solder (I don't have a proper crimping tool). The pins easily slid into the housing and the housings lock to each other with a positive snap.Fit and consistency is very good. There are seals to keep incidental water out but I would not consider this to be outdoor rated.Pro Tips:1. Be VERY careful if using solder.
