I have a Harbor Freight auto change helmet and these slid right in. I knew I was taking a chance because my micrometer said the dimensions stated on the website were just a slight bit difference.. like 0.2 off I think. In any case I was very happy the lens fit. I got 1.5 glasses and should have gotten 1.75. So maybe you might want to bump you normal glasses rating up just a scooch. Other than that I'm pleased I no longer need cheaters to fit under the hood.

I ordered the 1.5's. They work well and the focal length is good. These fit 2 out of 5 helmets i tried these in. granted, all of the helmets are "big screen" helmets. I may be able to modify the lenses to make them fit in one or two more helmets. I just do not have time to do that now.A definite help for old eyes.

The welding helmet magnifier lens offered by JUSTHOT are well made with good clarity and little distortion. They have a nice protective rim to the lens which provides protection for the lens edges and provides strength. The Len’s diopter value is clearly marked on the rim, which helps you get the lens inserted the right way. These are meant to be used with welding helmets with a viewing port of 2” x 4.25”, a common size. Some helmets come with brackets to hold this type of lens, some do not. If your helmet doesn’t come with a “cheater” lens bracket, you can easily add these using some hot glue or double-sided tape on the rim. The lens is installed in the helmet, covering the view port with the diopter value side towards the back of the helmet. Each person is different, when it comes to selecting a diopter value, but you should be aware that the higher the diopter value the shorter the focusing distance is. In my case, I wanted just a little boost beyond the glasses I normally wear, so I didn’t have to put my face as close to the work as I welded. There is a photo of an installed lens.
