This DID NOT fit the EGO PS1000 polesaw with a carbon fiber handle. Buy the version that has 56 drive links, not 40.

Love this saw! Sharpened old blades several times and it was time for new blades. I recommend purchasing from Amazon when you need more blades. Big box store doesn’t always have them in stock. Blades came quickly!

Purchased these non-OEM replacement chains for my EGO 10” Pole Chainsaw. I’m no stranger to tools, but this is my first chainsaw. So what I’m about to share is for chainsaw novices like me. NOTE: Chainsaw chains have a direction! (I installed my OEM chain on my new EGO pole saw backwards (LOL), and I will add it still worked…but not nearly as well as when I installed one of these replacement chains “correctly”. (Pay attention to the arrows as another reviewer mentioned.)I had only used my pole saw on palm fronds and small branches, until I had a ~40’ tall palm tree fall during Milton. I managed to make 5 cuts through the trunk (about 6-10” diameter) with the backwards chain, and each cut took about 20 minutes.With the replacement chain installed “correctly” I cut through the 6-7” trunk in less than 20 seconds! OMG, chainsaws are awesome!Some reviews suggested these replacement chains were not long enough. NOTE: For the EGO 10” Pole Saw there is a screw adjustment that allows you to adjust the chain bar. These replacement chains appear to be about one link shorter than the OEM, but they still work, you just need to adjust the screw that sets the chain bar length.The quality of the replacements chains look a little inferior to the OEM chain, however, I cannot speak to their longevity yet. At this early stage of testing these replacements I would buy them again given the cost difference. I hope this review helps someone else. Happy cutting!

Eventually your pole saw will cut less well. At that point it is a good idea to sharpen or replace the chain. As I had accidentally run my saw into a chain link fence several times I decided to replace rather than take to be sharpened. This set of chains is inexpensive and very sharp. It is no harder to replace with these chains than any other.I previously had ordered the wrong size chain and customer service exchanged the chains with the right size. I was impressed with the customer service.
