Tried to enlarge the slots but the tip keeps falling. Lost one somewhere on stage

I had a little trouble removing the original one. 10-15 seconds with the blow-dryer took care of this problem, and the new tip fit on perfect. Paired with my new brass knobs, this gives my 12 year old Starcaster a whole new shine.

These knobs fit tight and work well on Squire and Fender switches!I'm sure they will work on most similar style guitars. They work well with gold hardware or to add a visual accent to your strat style guitar.Inexpensive and good quality. Good for an accessory or replacement of a lost knob - and it comes with a spare too- super nice!

Should say at the start of the listing that this switch tip is for imports. Wasted my time.

I got these for a Squier Telecaster Affinity in Limited Edition Ice Blue Metallic. This particular guitar is notorious for the selector switch button falling off. And of course, mine did right out of the box. Not wanting to glue it on or bend the switch, I opted for an aftermarket piece. These fit so tight that it took a little effort to press it on. They come in pairs, so if it wears loose, you have a spare. They come in any color you could want to dress your rig. They're more Strat style than Tele but I like the lower profile. And of course you can opt for black or chrome. If you want to fix the switch or customize your rig, I recommend these for cheap. Of course, I also got matching volume and tone knobs.

So far (4 months) the gold plating isn’t fading, but do see little pittings similar to how chrome pits but it’s very tiny amount and barely noticeable, definitely impressed as the gold plating isn’t noticeably fading, definitely first time putting on the knob was kinda difficult but after a while it comes off and goes in more smoothly but it’s still tight enough so that the knob doesn’t just fall out, my more accurate rating would be a 4.5
