These D'Addario NY XL strings are excellent. I have yet to snap a high-E or B-string even bending 2+ whole-steps regularly.They leave a nasty coating on my fingers after playing, but they do not snap and they stay in nearly perfect tune on my Ibanez Edge Pro tremolo on my RG.I always clean my guitar strings with "Spray Away" aerosol glass cleaner before, and after, each session to keep the finger oil off of the strings.I highly recommend these guys.I'd love to know what the coating is.I Highly recommend them despite their cost.

With my telecaster, tuned to standard, these are the most fun strings I've ever played. I expected them to be stupid slinky feeling, but instead you can play aggressively without effort. Tone is slightly brighter but honestly has more definition and clarity. I'm mad I never bought 8s in the past

I'm a retired sound engineer and have been working on guitars for over 35 years. In my retirement I also tech for many locals. I love these strings. Less stretching and stability! Great things to have on your instrument. I swear by these. A few dollars more but way less headaches.

These titanium strings made a significant difference in the fullness of my guitar sound. I like it to be easy to bend notes so the .008's fit the bill. I play with a very low action and with the greatest angle across the bridge to maximize sustain. This combination of setup factors make these strings really sing. They are pricey but worth it. They are my new go-to string set.
