The snap tape is of good quality but the snaps are very hard to snap into place. Some don't fit at all. I am looking for a solutions to this problem before I can use the product.

I've made baby clothes before with hammer-in snaps (Snap Setter, I think the brand was) and they worked perfectly for me. I added bias tape when I was working with knits to help reinforce things, and the wovens usually had enough structure on their own. These are smaller than my hammer-in snaps (I'm not sure how snaps are measured, but these might be 7mm snaps, ). They are super tight at first, and I worried that they might be too tight, but after a few times opening and closing them, they loosened up a bit. The tape is nice and solid.I like that I can control the spacing of the hammer-in snaps, but this tape should be overall easier to work with. I think you do want to be sure to sew these on securely, since the point of stress will be where you sew this in, and not on the snaps themselves.Overall, these are just what it should be, and I'm glad I got them.

The fabric tape these snaps are fastened to is 3/4 inches wide, not 1 inch as advertised by the seller and shown in their product photos. The snaps have a very strong hold that some may find difficult to unfasten. That also gives me cause for concern about how sturdy the tape is and whether it will be able to stand up over time to the kind of pulling necessary to unfasten the snaps. The tape is also suseptible to fraying.

The zipper on my daughter's large king duvet cover broke and was unfixable. To purchase a replacement zipper of the same size was cost prohibitive. I found these snap tapes on Amazon which are much more affordable. I removed the zipper and very easily sewed these perfect little snap tapes into the same opening. They function as they should and are a better quality than I anticipated. The close proximity of each snap makes them ideal for infant and toddler clothing. For my use, the closeness of the snaps in a very large opening allows for equal distribution of strain on the duvet cover while making the bed. And, if one or two snaps open, they are easily snapped. I'm happy.
