Worked well to keep the squirrels from digging up my planters. Hasn't rusted yet. Wish there were more widths available to fit my other pots.

If you need a very fine mesh, this is a great option.I hardly ever use actual chicken wire, because there are plenty of predators who can get their grubby little paws through the openings in chicken wire. I always like to have some fine mesh on hand to make sure that critters can't get in and this mesh fits the bill. This is a very fine mesh, be aware. It is not as durable as a larger mesh with a larger gauge wire. However, this is great when you just need to line something to fill a gap and make sure nothing can crawl or gnaw its way in.I like it.

After many years of refining the processes; our compost bins are a very sustainable system that we harvest twice a year. Once in early Spring, and the next in late Summer, or early Fall.I've been upgrading my compost sifter after 6 - 7 years ago.I'd been using a wooden cylinder with galvanized hardware cloth attached to 1 X 2 wooden struts with wooden disks at either end. The wood won't hold the original staples, and the screws/washers on the wood struts kept coming loose.I decided to make an all metal replacement with 3/4 in aluminum struts. And, I wanted a fresh start with all new materials. I decide on aluminum, and stainless steel to make it lighter and easier to manage. I had no idea that stainless steel hardware cloth existed until, just by chance, I saw this roll of Wirewonders was something I could try from the Amazon Vine program. But, I knew it had to something strong enough to hold a full load of compost in it. When it arrived; I was surprised at how light weight and thin it is.But, after longer looks I could see all the wires were welded in place, and it had great tensile strength. It is also easier to shape, or un-shape if you don't have a good support for it.My new cylinder mostly aluminum and stainless steel. I used self-taping stainless steel screws, with stainless steel washers, to hold the Wirewonders hardware cloth in place. I used half of the roll; and I found it faster, and easier to work with than the galvanize cloth I'd been using before.I'm always putting things together; so I'm happy to have some left for future projects.

Love to use these around our plants and on occasions, great for patching up the chicken coop. The price is really great and the shipping time was phenomenal.

This fence is just what I expected and has no noticeable faults. It’s a good choice if you would like to avoid galvanized coating. Its solid, durable, and is protecting our chickens well. Happy with it!

I got this to put on the back side of my squirrel cage so she doesn’t pull my curtains thru and eat them. It is very easy to work with and isnt as stiff as the bigger stuff. Easy to cut and does the job.

It really is 1/4" mesh. it's really small mesh, which isn't bad if that's what you need, of course! But it does make putting it up more of a challenge. I wired this around the bottom of part of my chicken run to help predator-proof it, I used wire to fasten it, but not being able to get my fingers through the wire made it pretty challenging. Overall though, it worked well. It's not rolled up around a cardboard tube or anything, so the last bit in the roll is rolled realllly tight and rendered kind of useless so I cut off like the last 8" of mesh.
