I bought these ruler for a course I instructed where the students needed to make crude measurements of items. For the price, these worked great and supported my points on accuracy of measurements and using quality tools for the job. For general use as a ruler or straight-edge, these are a cost-effective option.

They are great rulers, just not very durable for a classroom. We've been using them for a few weeks and already have five that have pieces broken off of them or splinters down the middle.

Use them for art class and they’re great! Very sturdy, but watch out for the kids who like to snap rulers in half.
