My 5-year-old grandson loved watching the family play cornhole this summer, but was frustrated that he could not manage to get the beanbags in the holes. When I saw this small set, I thought it would make a great Christmas gift for him. It comes neatly packed in a small box, which holds everything pictured. The cornhole piece itself folds like a car's windshield sun screen, then fits in the provided round carry bag. It pops out perfectly, and with a single hook and loop tape closure, it is ready to use. One side has a shark design, with the 3 corn holes. There are 8 colored bean bags, which will make playing with siblings, friends, and family more fun. Flip it to the other side, and there is a nice stand-up target, with 10 ping-pong sized balls in 2 colors. These have a strip of the hook and loop tape, which makes them stick to the target. My little guy loves to throw balls of any size, and will adore throwing them at a target. It will help increase his eye-hand coordination, too, and help prepare him for playing baseball in a year or two. There is also a rigid plastic shark fin that attaches to the top of the target side, and when stood upright, becomes a great ring-toss game. There are 6 included plastic rings for this. So, for the very reasonable price of $23.99 (as of this writing), there are three very fun games for the little ones. I believe this is a great value, and a wonderful gift. Getting the "board" folded properly to fit in the carry bag is a little tricky, but I managed it within a few minutes, and it will get easier each time. Besides, I fully expect that it won't spend much time in the bag. It will be used daily in the backyard, and gives my outdoor-loving kid something to do, other than playing video games (yes, even at 5 years old, it is tough to keep him off of electronic devices). I love anything that reduces his screen time, and so do his parents. This is a wonderful gift for a little one, and I imagine even the older siblings will enjoy launching balls at the target.

I got this with the intention of entertaining my toddler on camping trips because it folds up so small and looked really lightweight. It’s definitely going to work, although I might need to weigh it down if I’m using it outside. I do think it’s going to be a hit when we introduce it!
