As we are being more health conscious we have been looking to replace our plastic items with glass. This is a great option for batters, salad dressings, syrups, etc. Granted, the lid is still plastic, but our food isn't spending all its time marinating in plastic walls. The dispenser works as it should, we aren't having liquids run to the end of the bottle and drip off the back like we do with a cup or just a jar. It's quite nice to be able to close the lid and pop it back in the fridge. We picked up both the small and large versions and both are handy to have. We use the half gallon size the most to make and keep beverages in. The handle holds up well to the weight of whatever we put in it. All in all a good value.

Sturdy and strong. I got this for my toddler to start working on more motor skills and independence. It has a decent weight to it and can hold a good amount of liquids.

Too many of these "mason" jars/lids don't fit standard Mason & Ball jars, but this set seems to be compatible. The glass is a little bluer than mason/ball brand jars, but the capacity and threading are identical - the lid fits other wide mouth jars perfectly.Unlike many other lids with handles, he handle on this lid sticks out more and curves in a bit. While it might take up a little bit more fridge space, this design allows more room for your hand (other handle lids are too compact and my knuckles get squeezed against the jar) and affords a more balanced hand position when the jar is full - I don't feel like the handle is going to snap off.

This 2-qt glass pitcher is sturdy, but the one I received does not have the familiar embossed mason jar emblem like those in several pictures on the purchase site. It is slimmer and lighter than other mason jar pitchers I own, and the top is not as sturdy. So far, it works fine as a beverage container and is reasonably priced, but because of the discrepancy between the pictures on the purchase site and what I received, I rate it 4.

Health issues made it imperative for me to drink 64 ounces of liquid every day. My big old pitcher, with a round rubber lid, inserted at the top, served me well, but it had been looking cloudy and ugly for a long time. It had no handle, just an indented grip area, and no measurements along the side. Enter this new 64-ounce pitcher. The glass is clear, shiny, and thick, like a Mason jar, and is marked with cup, pint, and mL measurements. Now I can pour out an amount equal to the juice, coffee, or other liquids I drink during the day and see on the pitcher how much of the 64 ounces I removed and how much is left. The twist-on lid has a substantial, long handle that enables a more secure hold than I had on the old pitcher. It pours well after lifting the flip-top part of the lid. Despite its size, the round shape of the pitcher fits easily in the refrigerator. The gasket inside the lid is removable, so I can wash it, as well as the lid underneath. Since the gasket is pale in color and tends to drop out easily, you have to make sure it doesn’t get lost. You can press it into place after cleaning. For several reasons, I’m pleased with this new addition to my everyday routine.

The pitcher arrived this afternoon and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I have an attractive glass pitcher but it doesn’t have a top and it’s bulky and hard to maneuver. This pitcher has a basic design which isn’t as elegant for entertaining but is more practical for everyday use. It fits easily in my refrigerator. The pitcher holds a lot of liquid but remains easy to handle. The top screws on easily and even my arthritic hands have no trouble with removing and replacing the top. The pitcher was supposed to have a silicone seal but it didn’t arrive with the pitcher. However, there are a number complaints about the seal and the top doesn’t leak without it so I frankly think I’m better off without it.My doctor has advised me to drink more water. This pitcher will encourage me to do that. The measurements on the side of the pitcher will ensure that I meet my goal!

I’ve used the Country Line Kitchen version of this pitcher for years, so I had something to compare this one to.First impressions of the lid: It’s not as sturdy. The lid feels flimsy, and the silicone gasket keeps falling out. The handle on the lid flexes slightly when the jar is full, which doesn't instill confidence in longevity. The lid opening is also a bit smaller than I expected. The jar itself? A glass jar is a glass jar. It works with any standard Ball-style jar, so swapping lids and handles is easy. This one is about $10 cheaper than the one I’ve been using, but it doesn’t come with a mesh filter shown in one of the photos, which the Country Line Kitchen version includes. If you need a filter for cold brew or other uses, you’ll have to buy that separately. If I didn’t already have experience with the other pitcher, I’d probably be more satisfied. But compared to that one, this just feels like a step down.
