I am not planning to take my minibike racing, so the valve springs are too much. I usually use 18lbs springs in my modified GX200 clones. The springs fit and all, but they I'm not planning on revving to a billion rpm, so I didn't use them.I did use my small torque wrench to tighten the rod bolts to 150 Inch/lbs like it says, so that's probably a good idea to do.Once it was installed, I went ripping around the farm on the minibike to see if the rod had any issues. It did not. I don't have it revving to 10k or anything, but it definitely revs above stock considering the lack of a governor and various other mods.So, it fits and it hasn't exploded. Not much else I can ask of this.

This is a high quality connecting rod. Really tight tolerances.
