I purchased for my Troybilt Tiller. Used in one day approximately for 6 hrs. Three weeks later, I used the tiller again and the muffler just blow away the cylinder section. Don’t buy it, chip material and very low gauge material.

I installed this on a very old B and S 5 hp motor that originally had a square muffler. Bolts for this were frozen in the block and broke upon attempt to remove. Thankfully the block had 3/4 pipe threads. The muffler is a bit too large in diameter, interfered with the crankcase breather tube. I hammered a big dent to provide clearance, then needed to fashion a strap and put in a couple screws to keep it in position. Upon starting the motor the paint or "aluminized coating" discolored and fell off in big chunks after 1 minute of running. Now it's gonna rust! You get what you pay for.

I bought this muffler which fit perfectly. Unfortunately the generator took a crap. I stripped tge generator for reusable parts including the muffler and I ended up scrapping the rest.

Could use a lock Nut I’ll get to it sounds like the old one. If you want it quieter get a battery one. Brigs 195422

Don't waste your money on this muffler. This is what it looks like after two hours of use. Seller not interested in making it right. Avoid the waste of your time & money.
