I prefer double sided clips like these for adjusting tarps and even as a lock on my chicken coop. Just looking at this it may not be resistant to outdoor weather conditions so I would not consider this one heavy duty. The slide to open and close seems stiff and one of the four clips I recieved has a loose clip closure on it. So, the workmanship on these clips are not ideal. Regardless, it will work for what I need for now, but in consideration of the quality, I'd probably pass on this when it comes time to purchase more.

The metal is strong and the finish seems like it will last. No complaints.
