We covered our "catio" in this because he previously chewed through the mesh that we used. Very easy to install, very easy to cut, very easy to manage. Bonus - my cat can't chew through this.

First of all, the product description is completely wrong, if you actually need 16 gauge, don't buy this, because it absolutely isn't anywhere near that size wire!On the upsize, if you are building a catio, this wire is easier to work with & the thinner wire WILL work since it's the appropriate thickness for that type of project. The black helps it blend in and is more see through. I did find a few quality control issues, like one row of wire was missing, so that section had 1.5 x 3" holes, still fine to keep a cat in, but overall, this was pretty disappointing when you are expecting to get what you are paying for... but you might end up like me, having a build a catio with it so the expense of it didn't go to complete waste.

It's on the deck and looks nice .. I just thought 16 gauge was thicker.

I am attaching this to a wrought iron fence that my little dog can walk right through. It is black like the fence and just disappears. It should last a long time.

Way better than the 'rubber' like fencing. Easier to set up, longer lasting.

The good: It's wire fence and coated in thin black rubberized coating. It's easy to unroll and use.The bad: It's NOT 16 gauge wire mesh...its 20 gauge. It's very easy to break the welds when installing and unrollings. We ordered 4 rolls - none of the rolls were 50 feet long. The longest we got was 47 feet. The other 3 were 43, 45 and 45 feet. One roll, about half-way through the unraveling process, was found to have been double-welded to the opposite end which meant we had to break the welds on 5 feet of one roll just to get the other half to unroll.Overall, it's good if you have a small project. I don't recommend ordering this for extended fence purposes - the quality-control is too inconsistent.

Really did the job I got it for which was to cover my iron gate so my Yorkie couldn’t get through it. The only issue is where I cut the wire, it’s beginning to rust. If it stays “a little” rusted, ok otherwise I’ll have to replace in a little while.

We needed something to prevent complete mud run as a dog run. This, coupled with coconut coir underneath, has held up extremely well for several months.
