I bought this tubing for 'heavy pull' slingshot applications. Since I am use to pulling back a 70lb compound bow I figured I could easily handle the extra 'weight' of this 'speargun' tubing. While I can easily pull it back the results are terrible-- less power, no accuracy, inconsistent trajectory and a really sore forearm. The stiffness of the band causes the release to be out of control hitting my forearm hard with every shot. These bands though way stronger than the 'high powered' triple bands of the better catapults, is no where near the velocity. This equation changes when using a heavier payload. With steel ball bearings the shot becomes way more controllable, but never as good as using proper sling bands.I don't want to

I use this for my slingshot, a Trumark wrist rocket (best slingshot BTW) I cut the band to 9 inches but I think I might go with 9.5 or 10 the next time around. It is stronger than the normal heavy duty trumark bands. I used the same inserts from the old band which rotted so quickly I hardly used it. It is a super PITA to get the inserts in the tubing to hold the band I almost made my own but ended up just trying again and again. They slide on the yoke without issue using ISO. My problem might of been I was using 91% ISO and it was drying too quickly? So if I had a spear gun I'd buy this and I have a sling shot and will buy it again. It is about 2 bucks per band set so a good saving. Make sure to use 303 protectant on the bands after getting it on the slingshot.

I bought this item in 2013 and keep it fresh in a closed plastic coffee can. It's still in great shape today after many uses. I stretch it from about 20 feet to 55 feet when launching my RC aircraft flying wing. I let the launch take care of things until the wing releases from the tubing, then I fire up the electric motor. I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of this item. I'm in the process of coming up with a new design on my launcher and will be ordering more of this product in the near future. I've tried other products, but definitely like this one as my favorite.

I am using this for working out. It provides significant resistance. Only issue is, and maybe this was my fault in measuring, but the center seems to be less than 1/8 inch and my connection to handles uses a ball bearing in the center to anchor it. Other than that specific to me issue these were perfect to use as a resistance band.

I don't kmow where to begin. Well okay. It starts back in the mid 90's and there was this new thing called skurfing. Like surfing but behind a boat. You might have heard of it by another name...wakeboarding. Yeah we'll back in the 90's HO made what is quintessentially the daddy of wakeboards. My family happens to have this wakeboard or skurfboard. In fact when I was 12 it's what I learned to ride. This thing was a blast on. All water and was fun for everyone. Flash forward many summers and years later. Somewhere around 2006 one of the bindings, which consisted of a neoprene foot loop and a stretchy tube that went behind your ankle, snapped. Right there it was like I lost a best friend. We were told it was a relic and not worth the space it took up. So it sat in the basement as a reminder of summers past. That is until I attended a boatshow spring 2017. There hidden in the back of a booth like a mystical unicorn stood what I thought was my childhood skirfboard. It was actually a 25th anniversary edition of the board that really kicked the sport off. I had to have it! I could finally ride a board that took me back to childhood. With that purchase I immediately had to see what could be done to salvage the original. The sales people were shocked that I had the original board and told me to hang it on my wall. That it wasn't worth messing with. Well that's dumb I thought. Thus the quest began. I had to figure out what exactly would work to fix the bindings. Free some searches I came across this tubing. It is exactly what shipped on te bindings 25 years ago. Now in my garage I not only have a. We wakeboard that pays homage to the beginning but I now have my unicorn. The original board back in its factory fresh glory. This summer will be the summer of dreams. All of this thanks to seven dollars of latex rubber tubing. 2017. You are the year of the unicorn!

Bought for a slingshot, but has a really high draw weight for that use. I'm sure that a lower thickness from the same brand would be great. Very durable material.

I needed to replacement original tubing parts for my Precor 3.25 home gym. The original tubing it came with are flimsy and seem it will only last 4 to 5 years of daily use. I just replaced them with the Kent Elastomer rubber tubing and there is no way I will have to replace them ever again. Great product and quick delivery. Thanks!!!

I cant speak from the perspective of speargun use, but id bet it would work great.I Bought this to beef up some of my old slingshots...Works great, really adds a lot of power as compared to readymade replacement tubes. I would highly recomend these for anyone looking to beef up their old slingshots or building new hipower slings.
