The positives of these are that they roll up very well and pack easily into the little silicon pouch which literally fits in the palm of your hand. They are also bright and quite soft. However, although they do work as described, they are a touch too thin. They cool you down, but if they had been just a smidge thicker, the effect would’ve lasted longer which would’ve been appreciated. This is definitely a good product, but it falls just a touch short of being great.

I'm not impressed with this product - I tried another type of cooling towel about 2 months ago that really did seem to work, even over an hour or so with re-wringing, and it was made of different material. This one is basically a nylon/poly piece of solid material (another layer of hole-appearing material is glued on top), and once wet, it's basically just wet. It does cool, just because wet polyester is cool, but it starts dripping on the ends and that isn't so great. I do like the little carry cases for each towel, super cute, and the colors are fun, and I don't know this towel may have some benefits, maybe sitting by the pool?

These are too thin, and not quite absorbent enough, to replace or match the performance of cotton towels. But if you really need something that can be made very compact, these are a good choice. They do an OK job of taking up water, so yes, if you soak them in cold water they'll do a decent job of cooling for a short while--but only a short while, because there just isn't enough towel or moisture there to stay cool for a long time against hot skin. They dry quicker than a cotton towel, though not quite as quickly as you might think something this thin would dry. So not a perfect solution, but hard to beat when it comes to fitting a usable towel into a tiny space.

I live in Southern California and my high school aged son plays 3 baseball games each week. It can get very hot and umbrellas don’t do enough to keep us cool. I found this 4 pack of cooling towels and decided to see if they could help cool us down. Once the towels arrived we decided to give them a try on a trip to Disneyland. Each towel comes in a silicone case with an attached caribeaner for convenience. Cooling towels are easy to use, you wet the towel throughly, squeeze out the excess water and shake it to activate the cooling power. I like to place the towel around my neck for the best cooling effect. These towels work great and kept us cool during our Disney trip where the temperature was in the 90’s. The towel is easy to place back in the silicone case if need be. I am impressed that you get 4 cooling towels at this price and am so happy that I can keep cool during my son’s games.
