I really like these hoops. They work as great hoops for gift giving. They only cost around 4 dollars and make the art look graceful.

It was a little hard to assemble with embroidered piece. I didn't like the look. Too dark and heavy to show off delicate embroidery. It did hold the piece tightly and seemed sturdy.

I think these are great finishing frames for after you’ve finished a piece. They have a very cute little hanger on the top that you can hook on a nail, but you can also take it out if you wanna display it by itself. You could probably work out of it but I think it’s better to place on a finished product. I like that it’s bendy and snaps over the piece. Very cute and unique hoops.

The rubbery outer frame is too weak and floppy to hold anything on. Not to embroider and not to eventually frame. It's completely useless. Additionally, the outer frames have dents and deformaties.

These are super cute and easy to use. The outside is flexible (some kind of rubber?) which makes fitting it over the frame easy.

These are really gorgeous. They just finish an embroidery or punch needle piece beautifully. That being said, it IS a rubbery plastic which means that you don't have the ugly screw clamp at the top, but you might have to employ some interesting maneuvers to get the rubbery outer wood like ring to clamp down. What I do is I have a piece of wood (make sure it is clean) and once I get one side over the embroidery substrate locked into the inner ring, I then start pressing around with that piece of wood and my bodyweight with the embroidery on a flat sturdy surface, to get the rubber to finally fully clamp down over the side. I hope that makes sense. And you do need to be mindful of where the top is otherwise you will struggle to get the motif right side up. You can use this hoop to do your work in of course, but I am doing punch needle and I find it hard to do in a hoop.

I like these hoops but the rubber isn’t as sturdy as another one I had found in thrift store. As a result you do get a good fit but not as tight. The rubber is just too flimsy to provide a super tight fit. I still like and it is a great value for the money.

Came with the largest hoop broken. The rest are fine, not good to embroider in but good to display embroidery.
