Tips: If you don't know which type of brake pads to use for your bike or electric scooter, please take a photo of your caliper and send it to us. There is no need to disassemble it, just take a photo. We will help you determine which type and size brake pads you need to use, fast and efficient, saving you valuable time.
- Occasionally, the brake pads cannot be installed in because of the clearance is too narrow. The solution is to press the piston back with the hydraulic brake pistion press.
- When replacing the brake pads of the hydraulic brake, do not pinch the brake handle after removing the old brake pads, otherwise the piston will fall off and leak oil.
- When the brake pads rub against the disc, use the clearance adjuster to make the distance between the disc and the brake pads on both sides the same.
- When your brake caliper is wire controlled, you can adjust the clearance between the disc and the brake pad by adjusting the screws on the back of the caliper.
- When your brake makes a strange noise, it means that the brake disc is dirty by oil. You need to use special disc cleaner to clean the disc or replace the disc.

I thought I would try these brake pads for my MTB. I ride some steep terrain, and my pads don't last long. These are quiet, stop really great and for the price are well worth it.

Less than two weeks and they wear down fast, one side of the pad actually chip and I had to replace it. I do not plan to use the other ones as it might be risky specially that I used it on an ebike.One star because of the other accessories included otherwise a zero. You get what you pay for.

Like their ad says , if this is the shape of your pads , these are most likely replacements for them .And they were !!Just make sure your disc's are clean before you replace the pads , and you won't have loud squeeking noises .

went in well, seems to be good, not sure about the additional tools, one is a tire leaver, the Alan wrench is nice touch, not sure that the long stainless tool is for, pads seem to be good, not sure about how they work well in the wet, only used it in the dry, but they do not squeak, or squeal, fit seems good, break as well or a little better than the originals.

I bought these replacement brake pads for my Aventon Aventure and they seem to be performing as well as the stock brake pads. Most factories probably are using the same generic quality and most brands likely have the same quality just with their branding on it. Stopping distances excellent, I was able to install them myself. The tool that comes with it for aligning the disc brake has a learning curve but has proven to be useful.
