These Blaze Orange panels are easy to attach to a pop up blind. Please note that these may not fulfill the legal requirement in your hunting area so check you regulations before buying.

Once of the great things about hunting blinds is that they protect you from inclement weather, conceal your motion and make you less noticeable while hunting. One of the bad things about hunting blinds is that they conceal you and your blaze orange safety clothing making you less noticeable to other hunters. A blind is easily overlooked in the forest, even by us upright walking creatures with color and binocular vision - these magnetically attached triangular panels allow you to mark you your blind location to other hunters (animals don't see color - only black/white/shades of gray) to keep you safe, but still facilitate your hunting concealment.

These safety panels are nice and bright. At the corner of each triangle, they have a tiny metal disc (metal, not magnetic) and you have a very tiny magnet that goes inside the tent and you use that magnet to "attach" the triangle to the tent. Not sure why they didn't put magnets in the triangle as well, but since they didn't, the magnets don't have that strong of a hold to the little metal discs. It's weak enough that a good strong wind, or even weak wind if caught just right, could blow the triangle away. I'll probably see about getting larger disc magnets for the triangle as well as for inside the tent and use those instead, the ones they used are small and very weak. The magnets they provide are about 1/2" in diameter. If they had used magnets for both the external and internal pieces, it might have been strong enough, but as-is, it's not.

These blaze orange markers will work great for blind hunting. The magnetic fasteners are reasonably strong and should hold up in windy conditions, not allowing the flags to fly off. They’re made of nylon so should last a long time, not sure about fading yet.My only complaint and some of this is my fault, the markers are 112 sq in but my state requires 144 sq in per side. If my local conservation officer shows up and pulls out a tape measure and knows how to use algebra, I’ll be busted for inadequate amount of orange. I should’ve checked the state requirement rather than accepting “meets the legal requirements of most states”. Anyway, they’re highly visible and worth the $15.00.

"Whats inside" review of the blaze orange magnetic ground blind add on panels. As you can see there's a nice bag to store and transport the 4 panels with 12 magnets sealed in the same blaze orange material. The magnets and metal tabs are securely attached. Definitely should work a expected this fall.

I got these as I prepare to put my blinds out for the fall season. I like to have orange on them at the beginning, even during archery season, so I don't have to come back and disturb them right before firearm season to put on the required orange.Over the years I've had a few different styles of blaze orange safety "caps". Some have strapped on and some have velcroed on. Both of those styles have let me down...extra straps that work themselves loose with the wind or tear over time as the blind flexes in the wind. So, I really like this magnetic style! I put the triangular panels on and then use the included magnets to hold them in-place...super simple. Because the triangles aren't a "cap" wrapping over the edges of the blind to attach, it isn't as easy for the wind to get under them and tug/rip away over time. They've stayed in-place perfectly so far (just a few days), but I really think this will be a game-changer this season. If for some reason something goes massively wrong with this, I'll come back and update the review accordingly. But, so far, I'm VERY impressed.
