We bought this instead of the other brand we usually use because of the color options. A small amount of the glue got on my husband's fingers and he could not get his fingers unstuck from the tip. The glue was very thin and gushed out. We are not new to this type of product. We've used the other brand for well over a year now. This glue seems so unsafe. Even though it took almost a half hour or soapy water and then acetone to just get his fingers unstuck, we were grateful it was him and not on the cat. I will never purchase this brand again.

These claw covers are a godsend for my furniture. I only wish that they came with someone to apply them. YouTube helped somewhat. My son is real good at putting them on. I bundle the cat with one paw out and attempt to attach them. I’ve heard that it gets easier and the cat will tolerate them after awhile. She isn’t chewing at them as much and I’m not finding as many covers around. They really help with the ‘kneading’ pain. My dog and I are happy with that. As a kitten, I ordered the small size, which looked too big, so I ordered the kitten size. They were definitely too small. So I recommend that you don’t go smaller than small. My kitten was a Burmese and they are quite tiny… I like that they are all one color. Didn’t know if I’d like black, they look quite nice, though. These covers are far better to deter furniture damage. Cats still try to relieve their itchy claws, but without hurting anything. I’m probably not suppose to use anything but cat glue, however I find that super glue works well.

These were fairly easy to get on, but I did end up with super-glued and furry fingers when it was over. However, by day 2, my cat had chewed the tips off and exposed his natural nail. By day 3, he had gotten nearly half of them off completely. At the end of the week, he only had one nail remaining and he's back to scratching up the furniture. It's a nice idea, but hasn't really worked on my cat.3-stars because they're nice and thick and, while he had them on, they kept my furniture safe.

These work wonders!! My cats don't care for them, but that was to be expected. They are fairly easy to put on. They stay on quite well. Cats get used to them quickly. If you have a pet that has hot spots and won't quit scratching, these will be your best friend. My cat has allergies, so we need to keep her nails covered. They work great if you make diy cat cones.

This is my second brand of nail caps I’ve tried, after my darling princess decided suddenly that destroying my new furniture was her favourite pastime (previously she never touched the sofas!)Caps definitely make a huge difference- she can’t really do any damage to the furniture with them on, her claws just glide over the surface. The other brand I tried had cleats inside the caps- and she honestly hated them. Hated. I know they are not supposed to hurt, but the pressure of sliding them on hurt and she would cry every nail and then fill out panic (she’s usually a pretty tolerant critter, so I tend to believe her when she tells me it hurts). They were def the right size- I even took them to the vet to make sure that I wasn’t doing something wrong. It was a game changer when I bought these Purrdy paws!!Right away, no more crying during application- at all. She prefers this style SO much more, I wish I’d just started with these!!I think they stay on a little better than the other brand, too. And I find the glue type and tube design easier to work with.Tips: keep the glue in the fridge, it helps not to dry up, squeeze the cap a little between your fingers right before you put it on (so that the wet glue is all up the sides of the cap), ones that fall off are sometimes reusable depending on how much glue is stuck inside. As with all of the caps, the typical caveats apply. Expect to have to replace 1-2 caps a week as they fall off (maybe more as your cat is getting used to them- mine pulled off 12 the first week, but none for the last two weeks, so hang in there). Make sure to fill the cap only with 1/3 glue, otherwise you’ll end up glueing their fur to the cap and they can’t retract their claw correctly. Unless your cat is a saint or a statue, bundling in a towel can be very helpful!

These were a necessity for our home. These little nail covers were a much better , humane option opposed to declawing. Our kitten would scratch our children constantly, now we can work on training her without the tears. They last about 2 weeks if applied properly

My cat removed all of them and I used a significant amount of glue.

Very cute! It took one of us holding our kitty and the other slipping on the claw caps, but overall it wasn't a difficult process. Just squirt a drop of glue inside the cap and place it over the claw. They seem to be holding up well so far (it's been about a week and she is a VERY active kitten).FYI- we trimmed her claws with a nail clipper prior to applying the product, and we only applied the caps to her front paws.

I have claw posts all over my house and my senior cats use them instead of my furniture but my youngest cat, being hard headed and rebellious, decided to try out my new dining room chairs. I don't like the idea of declawing ( it makes them quicker to bite and some times it doesn't heal right so they are in constant pain - my chairs are not worth her pain) so I figured to try claw caps. I figured out what size she needed quickly (she took a medium but I told her they were small) but trying to decide what color was insane! There was purple, pink, red, blue and then all the different glitters plus glow in the dark; she needed them all. I picked purple glitter for her and waited to surprise her with them. They arrived quickly( as promised) and it took both of us to put them on for her. I held her ( wrapped in a towel) while G played Prince Charming and slipped them on for her. ( It wasn't fun and it wasn't pretty- she threw a fit almost as bad as any teenager) I held her for the 5 plus minutes afterward to make sure the glue set then turned her loose. She fussed over the claw caps for a while and pulled one off - I don't think it had enough glue in it- but three days later she still has all the remaining caps on.The caps work great, they look good and I'm gonna buy Meanness the glow in the dark ones next. Seriously, this is so much better than declawing your cat! At this price, you can get every color and switch up their look to match their mood, the holiday or what ever!

Wonderful product for cats! I have purchased these in multiple sizes and colors for my 8 pound female cat. She fits comfortably in the medium size and doesn't seem to have any discomfort when wearing them. My mom also utilizes these for her 10 pound male cat who fits better in a size large. The colors of these are always fun. I much prefer these to the alternative of declawing a cat. They are easily applied with a super glue like substance. My cat is not the biggest fan of the application process because she hates the smell of the glue. If my husband pets and holds the cat I can quickly apply new nail caps to any that have fallen off.
