Economical but spend your money on better chain. You will be constantly adjusting slack out of the chain if your kids Iike to ride very much

As for the chain itself, it's very well made - probably better than the worn chain it replaced. I was really surprised and somewhat intrigued by colored links, as I've never seen anything but the old standard metal finish on any chains I've ever used.The product description suggests that this kit would be used on a motorcycle or mini-bike. I used my kit to repair a drive assembly/jackshaft for an electric powered conveyor.The fit of this chain is standard...it's a 420 chain and of course it fits the sprockets that are made for 420 chains just fine.In this kit, they've included a chain-breaker. Just this tool alone costs ~$20 in my local market. It's manufactured with a substantial arbor and anvil...the thing is quite heavy duty!To add convenience to the kit, there are 5 master links plus a 10 tooth sprocket with a .625" bore - complete with a shaft key.With this set, I was able to make my repair and was very pleased with the result. I actually have enough chain left for a second replacement on our drive system.The color of the links (my kit was RED) is in fact very useful for safety. On vehicular/motorcycle applications, it may be a complement to your color scheme. I'm all about safety, so anything that draws attention visually is a good attribute.For what you get in this kit, it's sold at an excellent price point. This kit made my day and got things running like new again.I can certainly recommend this kit to you if you need some very good chain (and a few other goodies) for industrial or recreational equipment repairs.Cost savings and great quality make it a win. Two thumbs up!

Perfect for the lower powered vehicles. The gold looks really good once installed on the bike. I have the chain on a 125CC Motoped. The chain breaker really comes in handy since the MOTOPED uses two different size chain. Clip style connecting links make it easy to connect. Just count the number of links on your existing chain and duplicate it to the gold chain. Works well and looks good. I keep my chain oiled and clean, hopefully the gold last a while.

Very well priced kit, especially considering what you get with it. You get a pair of chains: 42 links and 90 links in black, gold, or red. The chain is of good quality and the assembly is well performed. They come to you sealed and lightly oiled, but I recommend a fresh cleaning followed by a thorough lube job with your preferred source of chain oil. Comes with a chain breaker which performs well for pushing pins thru. Five master links are included as well as 10 tooth sprocket for power drive.Lastly, a key way for the sprocket, and a pair of adjusters/tighteners for your drive axle for insuring you can keep things tight. I'm glad they did all of the part sourcing for me, I just get to install it and put it to use!

I needed a replacement chain for my older Baja. This chain fit perfectly. The chain is durable and a very good quality chain. This kit also came with a sprocket and a chain breaker that works phenomenally. Installation was quick and the chain works as expected. As long as I keep the chain lubed it should last a very long time. I also really appreciate the price point of this kit. If you are considering replacing the chain on your Baja you can't go wrong with this kit.

When I ordered the chain and sprocket combination I was expecting a 3/4" bore sprocket to fit the shaft of a Predator 212 engine. I made this assumption based upon the product description saying this was suitable for the Predator. Unfortunately, it is a 5/8" sprocket and does not fit my needs. My hope would be that sellers would simply list the bore size of the sprockets they are selling along with the chain size. Simple. And it avoids costly errors. Other than that the chain is of good quality and the kit includes a very robust chain breaker and a few extra master links. Just be aware...no 3/4" sprocket.

It almost looks like they used tractor paint it has the texture of a melted crayon it's a very dull flat red aside from that the chain functions as good as it is supposed to
