I bought two boxes (30 pieces). Out of those two boxes there two issues. The first issue was a couple rods had deformed threads that prevented them fully engaging in the T-Nuts I was using. No worries I cut that section off as I didn't need the full 3" for my application. However there should be no deformed threads. The second issue is that one of the rods was bent and discolored on one end. This rod proved unusable.Aside from is they are working for my application, but I couldn't give full stars.

fit and finish, as they say...the tolerance on little stuff like this needs to be very high, and it is.
