This is just a PVC fitting, but this stuff is getting harder and harder to find. We are finally finishing our walk-out basement after 21 years since we built the house, and part of that had to be installing a few more central vac ports to cover the new living space. That work involved needing most of the various fittings, including these 45 deg elbows. These appear to be the same quality as those I purchased two decades ago when I originally installed the rest of our central vac system, and the price was very reasonable compared to some of the pricing you find out there now (thanks, Amazon!). So if you still like having a nicely powerful centralized vacuum system and need this item, this is a great source.
