Absolute waste of my money. Got it today and within minutes of putting it together the piece that is supposed to tighten around the umbrella post is completely cracked making its purpose impossible.The umbrella flew out of the stand and broke. Extremely disappointed!!

Low profile, heavy, neutral color and holds up well when used in a patio table with a 9-foot umbrella. Despite winds of 10 mph with gust to 15 mph, this mount maintained the umbrella safe and secure until I could get out there and retract the umbrella to prevent umbrella damage.

We have been using this base for about a month and a half. Installation was easy. The three option for sizes was good. Instead of two side bolts that tighten around the pole, it is plastic sleeve on top of the base stand. We put our 1.6” umbrella pole and I had my husband tighten it. Unfortunately, it is not strong enough to hole our umbrella in place when open with a breeze. Our umbrella still rotates. I asked my husband to tightened it more and he could not. So then I asked him to unscrew and see if we could put the smallest sizer back in, but then he couldn’t untighten it by hand. We will have to disassemble for winter to put away and he will probably need to use a tool, which worries me because the base is plastic.I like the modern look of this base. The wood grain is good. We did have one scratch on the top. But it was small and once in place under our table, no one will see it.The base also has adjustable feet to help if the patio is uneven.Overall it’s a good, not great base. It’s pricey and for our 10 ft umbrella, we need a base that will hold it in place and not allow it to spin.

Keeps umbrella upright and didn’t have any issues in 25+ mile per hour winds. Do wish I would have gone with the version with wheels as it is very heavy

The first delivery was missing the hardware but the seller quickly sent a replacement and the second delivery was fine. I love the wood covering and it holds up our umbrella well against the strong gusts of wind we get. I wish they had the one with wheels available but the great aesthetic look compensates for that, highly recommend it even without the wheels. I’ve seen similar ones for $200+, save yourself some money a order this one.
