Collets are junk and do not hold the drill bits straight, or even tight enough to hold the bits at all. Could not use drill bits smaller than 1mm. The rest of the unit is loose and even if you could install a drill bit, the bit wobbles all over your work.

The drill's spiral is really loose and not fabricated well. This hurts the drill by not spiraling tight when pushing down. Has to be held secure to enable it to work at all. The drill bits that came with it are not sharpened well which doesn't help either. Would only be useful in softer materials, not metals and harder plastic.

The collet does not hold the bits well, allowing them to slip. The bits are dull. I used another bit I had of similar size and found it worked better. The overall quality makes me thing it won't last very long. Glad I didn't spend any more.

This tool works, but soooo slowly. It takes forever to get through simple polymer clay. Also there weren’t any instructions with the tool.

The product doesn't rotate the way it should be for drilling . When rotated, it never makes a tangible or real holes . I never recommend it .

The only downward force into the material is dissipated powering the spinning of the mechanism creating torc that is ultimately not driven into the object you are drilling into, so if your material is hard and/or your bit isn't sharp enough to bite, it can feel like it is dancing fruitlessly on the surface while you pump madly away. If they had added a freely spinning grip closer to the bit to push the drill toward your object while generating torc with the pressing motion of the other hand this tool would have been much more successful. In its current iteration you may find the inefficient energy transfer to mean pressing on this thing for what may seem frustratingly like forever to see little progress in depth. That's really where you would be wanting to use this because using a pin vice on tough material can sometimes get tedious. You won't have this issue with softer materials, like not-hard-wood and most plastics, but what you trade off in precision in those materials compared to a traditional pin vice because of the wobble inherent to generating the torc when operating this drill and taking into account how easy it is to drive a pin vice into these materials anyway, this tool starts to feel less like a tool and more like a gimmick.
