Some (like mine) 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4wd 3.7l came with Mercedes transmissions. You can tell if it is one of those by the hex bolts on the bottom plate. This sensor will not fit that transmission. The sensor is located inside the transmission, sandwiched between the transmission case and the valve body. I gave it 5 stars since there is nothing wrong with this sensor. It's just the wrong one at times.

Did not fit way oversized. Way over sized compared to the one i removed to replace need to return asap.still have this wrong size item seen /looked at just yesterday went to exchange this item myself and recovered it is wrongly oversized and wish to return ASAP /via whole foods or mail ordered as correct delivered oversized@ She charger mistaken for Rams this being second incident sent truck size.wish to return@ not cool. please reply
