Seems really easy to install! Just drill the support on the wall, and put the mantel on the support. Very simple and easy. I haven't put it up yet, I did have a spot I wanted it in but my hubby is being stubborn about where I want it. I can' wait to put it up though and will update with pictures when we do put it up. We don't have a mantel so that's why I wanted this!

The mounting piece is very unfinished and causes splinters. The veneer finish is coming off in the seams where pieces connect, causing a stark contrast of natural wood color and the dark cherry color.Overall this piece is overpriced and quality is lacking.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Dismantle was better quality than I expected for the low price. My bricks measure 60 inches, so I ordered the 72 inch shelf. The outer brackets fit snuggly against the bricks. Dismantle was very easy to install and I was able to do it myself. The only tools needed was my cordless drill. I couldn’t be happier with this Mantle.

At 72 inches, this is a perfect fit for the fireplace. It has a depth of about 8 inches (7.78 inches to be exact), and it is made of beautiful walnut wood. It can support up to 100 lbs, so I don't have to worry about putting my vases and other art pieces up there.The mantel is actually hollow on the inside, so it's not as heavy as I thought it would be - making for an easier installation process than expected.The rich brown of the walnut wood along with the crisp lines and subtle curves of the structure brings an air of elegance to the family room. I recommend.
