This 49mm EF/EF-S mount Macro Lens Reverse Adapter Rings is threaded on one side to fit the filter thread of your lens, the other side is mounted onto the EF/EF-S mount DSLR camera body.With the lens being reversed, it greatly increases the lens macro reproduction range capabilities, this saves your cost of buying an expensive macro lens for macro photography.
Steps of use:
1. Take out your lens from your Canon DSLR camera body.
2. Mount the adapter ring to your Canon DSLR camera body.
3. Reverse your lens with 49mm filter thread and screw it to the adapter ring until it is tight.
Note: Autofocus, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), and other functions dependent on communication between camera body and lens will be disrupted with this reverse ring mounting on the camera body.
To properly use this lens reverse adapter ring, you have to meet the below two conditions:

Definitely a bargain substitute to buying a Macro lens. I use it for product photography which is perfect. Probably be tough to use it for anything with motion.Threads were a little tight.

Pretty decent adapter to get a feel for macro photography. First two eye pics are with the adapter on canon m50 and the kit lens. At 45 mm it’s a smaller subject you get (like the third pic) and at 15 you can get really close to the subject so it’s way bigger. Also third pic is me just holding the lens in front of the camera so you can see how difficult it is to hold them together and how mid the picture comes out.

I currently can't buy a macro lens but for certain photos I need to get a closer, macro look. This was the first test shot I took using the attachment. Pretty great for the price. You have to get close to the subject.
