I used these for an outdoor pergola, and they worked out great. The 4x4 fits perfectly and are secure due to these being heavy duty. It comes with hardware to secure to concrete or wood, Usually, I use separate hardware that I buy but the hardware that comes with the bases work great. After 6 months of use, these are still holding up and no rust.

Have not installed them yet but my neighbor built an outdoor shower with the same brackets and they are perfect for my project. These will be screwed into a concrete pad and I'm using 3/8 x 3 1/4 Tapcon concrete screws instead of the included concrete screws which are a stupid design. The cylinder around these screws that is supposed to expand when tightened spins around as you try to turn the washer. My neighbor had to stuff toothpicks in the drilled concrete hole around the cylinder to secure it for tightening.

We replaced all of the post and deck boards over the past month. We were unsure how we were going to replace the post that were set in concrete. The old post were in terrible condition. I took a chance on these after seeing something similar at a home improvement store. These worked perfectly at a much more reasonable price! The only negative thing I’d say is the screws included to secure the post in the base were sheet metal screws not wood screws.

I was going to use these to replace my porch posts, but I got cold feet and hired someone to do it. I asked him about using these and he thought they were cool, they looked nice, and were quite sturdy. They didn't end up being the right bracket for my porch post situation, but they might work better for a different kind of application. They are quite nice, very heavy, and come with all the hardware you need.

Good heavy steel for use with 4 x 4 lumber. Comes with a variety of fasteners to use in either wood or concrete. Metal is of a heavy gauge and doesn't look likely to bend. This was obtained to be used with a wooden pergola project, and I ended up going with an all AL one instead. I'm keeping these handy to use in a future deck or fencing project as its a pretty self-contained kit and could be used in a variety of ways. Good value, good quality.

I have a porch with an enclosed area that is fenced in by 4X4 pressure treated posts. Over time, the posts have become wobbly, especially those on either side of the gates at either end. I acquired these brackets to solve this issue. These Idneckmo post brackets are a vast improvement over typical brackets sold at local major retailers. These post brackets are formed of heavy 14-gauge powder coated steel, making them rigid, solid, and durable. There are four screw holes in each of two opposing sides to allow fasteners to be driven into the sides of the post to hold it securely. There are two flanges extending outward from these same two sides to allow the bracket to be secured to a support surface. There are flanges on the other two faces which are folded under the bracket to cradle the post from below, further enhancing support of the post. Each bracket weighs in at nearly 2 ¼ pounds, and comes with 4 drop-in concrete anchors, 4 lag bolts for wood mounting, and 16 screws for the post. These INDECKMO 4x4 Post Brackets are well made, solid, and attractive, and I expect them to outlast the existing posts. I expect that these brackets will still be going strong and I will be putting them on the next set of pressure treated posts.

I had a broken post on my fence, and I needed to replace the post. Unfortunately there is a concrete slab that was poured right against it so when I removed the existing post there was a small square. The contractor said that he would need to break the concrete around it to be able to pour and I didn't like that idea. And said I had him feel the hole with a little bit of concrete level it out and we use these brackets to put the posts back in place. Comes with the concrete anchors which was easy to use. We pre-drilled four holes at the appropriate spots and use an impact wrench to set the screws into the concrete securing the post brackets in place. After they were in place we put the 4x4 inside and it seemed to hold quite well. This is definitely better than breaking out concrete.
