Worked well with #6 awg wire. Connectors supplied with clamps were flimsy i used more substantial ones in had on hand. Very good product overall.

The clamps were good ,but the nuts and screws were not good quality. One nut stripped without much force one was stripped before I tried to use it.

I had a 12V air compressor and a battery charger that had clamps that were broken, had loose connections, and were not well made. I got these replacements to fix things and they proved to be excellent. The clamps have a full metal body and nice plastic grips. The connectors crimp onto your wires and are held inside one of the handles on the clamp with a nut and bolt that are included. Crimping the wires into the connectors was probably the toughest part, it took a pretty good effort to get them tight. The clamp springs are very robust and I expect the clamps will outlast the compressor and charger. Getting four for around $16 makes the price very good. They are probably well over the current rating I would have needed, but no more poorly made clamps for me.

Quality clamps, Crimped ends to the cables and soldered for good electrical connection.For strain relief route the jumper wire up the other side of where the connection is screwed in place. Bring the wire back down past the spring . This will loop the cable around the spring and provide strain relief to the connection.
