I bought two of these to make a modular setup of my trolling motor on my canoe go quicker when I go to put in. I also bought two of the terminal connectors with the same plug so I am just plugging cords together between the battery and motor. The idea of messing with electrical connections in the dark when you just want to get out to the duck blind was not appealing. This wire and associated connections solved that for me.

This is a really high grade anderson style connector and though there are cheaper options out there there’s a reason they’re so much cheaper than this. First, this uses pure copper wiring, not copper clad aluminum which can’t handle as many amps as pure copper and will overheat much sooner. Plus, the wiring is tinned which is a must for marine or wet exposure installations. Finally, the connector is solid and made with durable plastic that isn’t going to crack when you end up connecting and disconnecting it frequently, especially in cold weather. It’s just a really nice version of these connectors and it’s offered at a price point that is very fair considering its quality.

This review is for the AMOMD brand 6 AWG quick connect able with dual 50 amp Anderson style connectors.These are nice cables. True 6 gauge cables. The Anderson style connectors mated find with my other Anderson style connectors.The only negative I noticed is that the cables are pretty stiff compared to some of my other 6 gauge battery cables. However, it is not enough of a drawback to deduct a star.

Item number: 6948K91You can make one of these for the same price out of better wire, or you can buy this one - it is done. For a fork lift, this is great. If you need something with more flexibility, splurge on EPDM insulated wire.
