So far it was a little difficult to assemble. We had to buy bolts to adjust correctly. And after a week of kids using it, it somehow broke and won't adjust to higher or lower anymore.

We installed this backboard in our pole barn for the grandkids to play hoops in the winter. It's perfect!

I ordered this unit for the backboard and rim only to replace a similar Goalith model which had to be replaced. I did not want to swap out the whole system due to the cement poured support structure being fine. Also, the quote from Escalade Sports for a replacement backboard was $851 plus tax, so I gave this a try.The center support struts on the backboard are 17” apart versus 17.5” for the Goaliath which aligned well and easily adjusted with a few washers. Note that the backboard mounts with four horizontal bolts to four support arms in the support structure.The pre-drilled vertical holes on the backboard were at 20” versus 17” on the Goaliath. I was able to drill new holes using a jig and metal drill bits as the backboard metal frame is approximately 3mm thick.To better protect the polycarbonate from cracking, I added rubber strips across the back of the rim base and over the screws where they meet the polycarbonate.

Big Backboard with adjustable height. It only comes with cement mounts so had to buy some bolts to mount on a wood garage. The frame is sturdy but the plexiglass Backboard rattles against the frame.
