The nickel-plated, die-cast mailbox lock has a removable cam and a threaded barrel (can be installed on thicker doors). The lock is designed so that your key can be removed only when in the locked position. The key and cam turn counter-clockwise to open. This lock is a suitable replacement lock for National/COMPX C8730, PrimeLine S4573, and for many standard mailboxes including American Device, Auth-Florence, Bommer, and Miami Carey This package includes 5 locks each with a selection of 5 plated steel cams with washer and nut, and 2 keys. The locks will be keyed differently. Before installation, select the cam that matches the lock being replaced and attach to the back of the lock with included lock washer and hex nut.
