While the etching is shallow, the markings are easy to read, at least new. Five are cut a bit long, so I can fix them with the belt sander. Three seem to be cut well, and the two that are too short only by 0.2mm, good enough for many purposes. The plastic sleeves did a good job for shipping, but will not survive use. Definitely worth the price.

I used to have a bunch of this type of little ruler with fraction to decimal conversion on the back and I loved them. Over the years they grew legs and walked off. I now have a very similar ruler and love it.

Ordered a pack of 50 six-inch rulers. Only 22 of the rulers were trimmed exactly so that the edge of the ruler was at zero (like in the first photo). The others were visibly trimmed incorrectly, sometimes by as much as half a millimeter (second photo).For my usage this won't make a tremendous difference. But if they're going to brag in the description about the precision, then quality control needs to be a bit more consistent.Also, my calipers show these to be .7mm thick. Some similarly priced rulers are 1.0 millimeters thick or more. On the plus side, the markings are very precise and well-filled, and should be very durable.

As several competitors' products have proven to be unacceptably unreliable, I measured these with my digital calipers (after zeroing-out, and confirming calibration against a standard (controlled for temperature). I was very pleased. These are spot on.The wife, the daughter and son-in-law, and the grandkids each now own one. There are still enough to equip the office and a couple of areas in the shop.Someday, I will recover my Starrett ruler and check the two to see which, if either, is the more accurate.

I bought these for use in a woodworking classroom. They are nice and thick material, and the markings - so far - have stayed clear and crisp.
