This is a simple set of brushes, they can be uses with almost any drill or 1/4 inch impacts. They are high carbon steel, so are very tough, but are fairly small. This is when you need to get into one small area and grind away some paint for a weld, or clean up a small rust spot.Simple and easy to use, be careful about them grabbing fabric, as they are very abrasive and might catch and tear your shirt. But just a simple set that is great to add to my tool case.

Used this kit to clean the hubs on my car when replacing rotors and brake pads, and it worked as you would expect for a wire brush. It made getting any rust off so much easier than just using a manual wire brush. Always wear eye protection with stuff like this, you don't want a wire getting you in the face!

Vendor Zhrmjzg offers this set of six wire brush wheels for less than $8, or $1.33 per wire brush. At that price point, you can't expect too much...and you don't. At best, these can be described as "value" or "budget" brushes. As you can see in the photographs, they are small and the actual wire volume/overall thickness for each type of brush is minimal. For example, the thickness of the wire strand volume of the wheel brush is 1/4". For the cup brush, the volume of wires is 1/2" at best. The shank is very short..only 1" in length. By the time you insert the shank into your driver or drill, you will have 1/2" or less between the end of the chuck and the actual brush filaments...so not much room for maneuvering. We tested the cup brush wheel on a section of a 2' steel stake used for cement forms. After about two minutes of effort, the brush had done a decent job of removing a good portion of the rust patina from the surface of the tip of the stake. The actual surface has a hammered finish, and the brush was not able to easily get into the depressions to remove the rust there.Overall, these brushes are very small, and the wheel brush is very sparse. They are of "budget" quality and probably suited for "hobby" work, given their small size. If you need such brushes for a small assignment, and you are looking for "disposable" or "limited life" brushes at a low price, these may fit the bill...just remember their size and filament volume. If you are in need of more "industrial strength" brushes, we recommend that you keep looking.

I use these to add a rustic texture to wood before staining, works excellent for that.

I can't speak to every piece, as I haven't used them all yet, but so far those that have been used have worked exactly as expected. They seem sturdy and strong and haven't bent off or broken like some cheaper versions I've tried in the past. Overall happy with these.

This review is for "6 Pack Wire Brush for Drill, Carbon Steel Wire Wheel Brush, Cup Brush, Pen Brush Set with 1/4-Inch Hex Shank for for Cleaning Rust, Stripping and Abrasive", by ZHRMJZG. I could not find an item number, but it's ASIN B0D89PNMCF. Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product. The ZHRMJZG wire brush kit DID NOT ship quickly so delivery took MUCH longer than advertised. The kit was packaged reasonably in a padded envelope and within the shipping box the six wire brushes were retail packaged plain cardboard box. Within the retail box the brushes were packaged in a bubble wrap bag which fit snugly. I found that none of the six brushes arrived crushed or deformed.I plan to use these ZHRMJZG wire brushes primarily for rust removal, which I would probably want to do prior to painting.I tested out a couple of the ZHRMJZG wire brushes on an old rusty 5/16in G43 chain using a cordless drill. The brushes did the trick, removing the surface rust fairly easily. It took more effort to manipulate the links of the chain so that I could reach them than to remove the rust with the brushes. The brushes should work fine with an impact driver as well.

There were a couple wires that were way outside the trimmed length but that's hardly an issue. They are solid construction and work well. They are stiff, so you're not doing anything gentle with these, so make sure your target use aligns with that. Seriously, don't take them to wood unless you mean to cut into the wood. These are for stone and metal use.
