I put this part on a 2008 ram 1500 with 4WD, mine was having issues locking the 4WD into place even if I rolled forward or backwards. After taking the old one off, fiddling with the joining mechanism between the 2 drive shaft ends, I put this on and now my 4WD engages just like it should. I haven’t used it very often but we will see how long it lasts. The fitment is good and the install was easy as long as you know how to unplug something and unscrew 4 bolts. BE SURE TO LINE UP THE FORK TO THE JOINING MECHANISM BEFORE BOLTING IT BACK ON.
