I have purchased a couple sets of these in the past and they have worked well.

Old school screw terminals with a clear cover still get the job done.

These allowed me to have a central and safe point for 12v wiring on my Mendel 3D printer and 24v wiring on my OpenBuilds CNC router. One bolt would not tighten on one of the connectors, but I easily fixed it by working it back and forth. You may want to consider a 4 or 6 terminal variant for symmetry in positive/negative pairing.

These were sufficient to distribute power for my LED light strips.

Used these for extending an HVAC thermostat. I do not like that the screw holes could not accommodate a standard drywall screw head, but that is a personal preference. 1 star off due to the flimsy nature, some parts popped off in usage, but I am overall happy with the item, especially at this price point.

Cheap design. Couple screws stripped with not much torque on them. Worked for what I needed but would go a different route next time.

These little terminal blocks came in very handy when I was making my single zone house (baseboard Hot Water) into dual zone. They mounted securely, and the protective covers snapped in solidly, and the fact they were numbered (the covers) was a nice touch. I had to run various thermostat wire to two thermostats, a transformer, a pair of zone valves, and a remote sensor, and these blocks made it a much neater job then just using wire nuts. Would (and probably will) buy again.
