The carburetor works fine. The wrong fuel line tube was enclosed. It was too small. I wound up using the old fuel line.

I have a 20yr old Toro mower that would not start. Got this carb, it fits and had all the parts I needed to install and replace old parts. Started on the second time priming the carb. No adjustments made to card. Install and go. Well worth the money.

The mounting flange is a bit thicker, other than that it seems close to identical.

I had my reservations about this carburator, but when I needed to change my original carb on my lawn mower ( Toro) it was a straight swap. Please reuse the plastic bracket from the original ( for the air filter) because this kit does not come with it.Took me about 10- 15 minutes for the swap...runs perfect! No complaints, if at all anything -it would have been better if they came with the plastic face bracket for the air filterHappy with the purchase, shipping and the fitment.

This kit let me repair my lawn mower! It was pretty easy to swap out the old carburetor for this one. I had to bend one small area to adjust the idle. Plus it came with a spark plug and an air filter, which was a very good value. I would purchase this again if needed.

I have an older Toro mower that has been a good and faithful mower. It's getting harder to start and can, at times run rough. Read a few reviews on this item and decided to give it a try.Put the mower on a workbench so I could work on it easier. Drained the fuel out of the tank and unplugged the spark plug then got started. I removed the plastic housing, oil filler tube/dipstick, and metal outer engine housing. I did put a rag into the opening left by the removal of the oil filler tube to keep dirt out. I removed the muffler shield and muffler then got to work. Why remove all the other stuff? It gives me room to work and it also allows me to clean the mower up.I took out the old spark plug (original). I clean it regularly but went ahead and decided to replace it. I checked the gap on the old plug and the gap on the new plug and they were the same. I installed it.I got the carb replaced and forgot to take the air filter connector off the old carb. Once I uninstalled then reinstalled it, I was able to get it all back together. I did replace a short piece of fuel line but not all of it. I used the new fuel line clamps that came with it as they were easier to manipulate. After getting the mower all back together, I added new fuel and primed the carb WAY more than normal (10 or 12 pushes) as there was no fuel anywhere near the carb. I pulled it a few (4 or 5) times and it started, farted, and died. I primed it 3 more times and gave it a pull and it fired up and kept running. I let it run and it was running smooth. I shut it off and let it set a bit then it restarted easily. I'm pretty danged happy with this!Nothing against mower repair shops but I'm sure this would have cost me in excess of $100. I was able to renew my mower for under $20. Oh sure it took me an hour +/- but I took my time and cleaned up my mower as I went.As previously stated, I didn't replace all the fuel line but can later. I didn't replace the primer bulb as the carb comes with a new one already. Guess I have a spare. I did put the new air filter in and spark plug. Had a few parts left over (extra stuff) but am going to hang onto them in case I need them later.Overall I am VERY HAPPY with this purchase. I'm waiting on the delivery of the rear wheel gear kit and then I'll be up to snuff with a mower ready to give me another 10 years of mowing.Make sure to check your mower's model number and compare it to the models it fits. Don't get the wrong, it probably won't fit.If you are somewhat handy, you shouldn't have any issues installing this. If you have some concerns about your abilities, grab your phone and take pictures of how things are before you disassemble them then refer to the pictures later. You got this, go and impress your wife and neighbors with your being thrifty and handy making your mower last forever!
