These are taller than most of the posts I can get at my local farm supply. Comes with 50 clips to customize them to meet your fencing requirements. They go into the ground pretty easily and stay put. I am using them to create a temporary space for some of my chickens. I cannot speak on the durability of these as I haven’t used them very long.

These are great posts. We have used many types of electric fence posts over the years and there is definitely a place for these. The double spikes are a great feature, and help with stability. The sliding mounts are a handy idea, but require a wire tie ( or tape) to keep them in place if you have steep grade changes and there is significant up or down pressure on the wire. We only use the small wire for temporary fencing, and the setup worked great. They are actually easier to stack, haul and store than a lot of fiberglass posts.

We've always used the thin metal hotwire posts. They're easy enough to step in if the ground is soft, but we have to use a hammer to drive them if it's hard. These fiberglass posts step in easily and seem surprisingly secure considering how short the spikes are that go into the ground vs the height of the rest of the post.My issue is the fasteners for the wire. A few times per year some wayward creature (probably deer) runs through our wire in the dark and takes it down. With our metal post setup this pulls the insulators off the posts, breaks the wire and strings it across the rest of the field. It's just a divider fence so our stock can't get out-out - but they enjoy their jailbreak into the taller grass until we get it rectified. The fasteners on these fiberglass posts fit super snug and they're NOT going to pull off the post. They'll hang onto the wire, and whatever runs through it is going to pull out posts and drag the whole works along until they get loose. It's enough hassle to fix the wire, I don't want to have to be re-installing posts too.If your stock respects hotwire and you don't have a situation where something else can run through it, then these will work great. For my application, not so much. They're also much taller than I feel necessary. I think I'll be repurposing them as garden stakes - they'll be perfect for that and the insulators will be great for tie points to fasten up plants.

Order these for pasturing chickens. I needed some taller ones to help keep my birds in (and one rooster out) of their enclosure. Additionally, I needed sturdier posts than those I can find locally at the feed store, these are more durable than the plastic kind. Easy to install and to move if needed, good value and functional product

The 66 Inches High Fiberglass Step-in Electric Fence Portable Posts with Double Spikes - 40 Posts Come with 200 Clips are fantastic to use around the farm.As an experienced farmer, I have worked with many different fence posts ranging from wood to fiberglass to metal and everything inbetween. These fiberglass types of posts that are easy to install (I literally step on it and it's done!) make it a breeze to set up and take down temporary pens. The clips are so easy to install too! They clip on anywhere on the rod and hold on well to the post.I used these for a piglet pen and they worked great!Highly recommended. My new go-to fence posts!

Ground is finally thawed enough I could test these out. For the price, they are decent temporary stakes. If you are using electric fence that won't be challenged, it should work for you. I am using it to corral 2 25# Vallhund dogs temporarily, and it should work for me as well. That said - the metal stakes that go into the ground aren't very long, so something willing to challenge the fence could easily push them over/out of the ground. I'm glad I got them for my use - no pounding into the ground, I just stepped down & in they went. They come with some great little clips that I can snap on / snap off to hold either wire, rope, welded wire fence, or even privacy screen in place. Additionally, the clips fit posts I already had, so that was a great thing for me.

A handy set of fiberglass posts for setting up and electrical fence. I will be using these in conjunction with the poultry fencing that I have. These are good to use for shoring up corners. These are excellent for use with any type of movable fencing. These are lightweight and easy to carry in a bundle in a vehicle.

I got these to use with some plastic chicken mesh I got to protect my backyard plants from my dogs' shenanigans. These posts were easy to use, and I appreciated the included zip ties for easy installation. They are durable enough to keep chickens at bay, but they're no match for a 30lb Border Collie determined to catch a lizard, so I don't think they'll really help keep any deer out.
