"Suitable for Propane Gas only. This pilot assembly includes a thermopile, thermocouple, ignitor wire, and pilot tubing (with pilot hood). It replaces the old part numbers 69L1801, J4118, and 902162 , as well as Lennox part #69L18. Compatible with Lennox Elite, Merit, Serefina, Superior, and Astria fireplaces and inserts. Please note that this is an SIT (Standing Pilot Ignition Thermocouple) pilot assembly, designed specifically for units equipped with an SIT valve and pilot assembly."

I installed the ignition mechanism on my Superior dr 600cmp indoor fireplace. I confirmed all components of the device to be intact before install. It worked great the first day for approximately 2 hours of use. The next day I noticed the thermocouple side facing the pilot light appeared frayed/damaged and took several tries to light.
