I had my doubts about a plastic holder for the dies, but it held up better than expected...though I don't think it would hold up to repeated use as the set screws are already starting to cross thread after a few tries. The die is also very difficult to remove from the holder, requiring some pounding from the back side. Where it really fails is in the cut of the die - it steps in too abruptly so it's very difficult to get the threads started (requiring a LOT of downward force) and is really easy to completely shred the end of the pipe. If you do happen to luck out on getting the threads started, the steep ramp also jams up to the point it won't turn any further.
