Not strong enough for code - Simple pull installed Nut-serts easily failed with any side stress. M8 x 1.25 (Close to 5/16) dia theaded rods bend very easily. These come with simple M8 nutserts also called rivnuts installed. They are upside down to design load so have no strength and can be easily pulled out. Even simply as a mailbox post these would fail. One has already failed. If they had been welded in as the listing states - they would be much stronger. This is stated in the listing and is NOT TRUE: "Gas shielded welding technology is used, with gas as the protective medium, to prevent defects such as oxidation and pores, making the weld stronger."

Highly recommended. High quality and cheaper than the options at the hardware stores

These post anchors were exactly what I needed for the bottom of the stairs that go up to our treehouse. They come disassembled but screwing in the spikes is (almost) as easy as screwing in a simple bolt, but they need to be done by hand or with pliers. The finish on the top portion is a very nice powder coat with shine to it and I'm confident they'll last a long time.

These anchors are very strong and durable and can be sunk into wet concrete and then secured with a 4x4 post. It works really well. I used it to install a street light post and it worked great.

The metal is nicely coated. The metal could be slightly thicker but it serves really well. The bolt are strong
