Junk product. Installed them on posts. After 10mins we decided to go a different route. They just fell apart trying to get them back off the posts.

Received this package and I couldn't recall what I had ordered that could use as a boat anchor. Solid, solid metal. Strong. No wimpy thing that will bend or break when my wife's cousin backs into our mailbox. Gee, I hope his car insurance agent doesn't laugh too much when he explains how sturdy the mailbox post was.Received free through Vine, but the rating is all mine.

They are heavy duty and seem to hold the deck posts firmly to the deck even when i lean on them. They have a little space at the bottom of the bracket to keep the water off the wood. Well designed and i will be buying more.

These are really heavy-duty post supports, and we needed it because of the 6X6 posts for the garden fence and gate. They look great and seem like they will last a long time. Nothing to installing them, just getting everything level and away you go.

This review is for the 4x4 Post Base 4 Pcs, Post Brackets (Inner Size 3.6"x3.6"), Black Powder-Coated Heavy Duty Solid Steel Deck Post Anchor for Outdoor Support Deck,Fence,Porch,Railing,Mailbox,Pergola.Grabbed these to add to my supplies for upcoming projects. These a nice heavy duty steel made to keep wood posts from contacting the ground/wet and allows for them to dry out if they do get wet. These have a nice black powder coat paint on them in matte finish. I'll be giving them a good coat of glossy black enamel as I like the look and I will be using hardware I've gotten from different offers, that way they'll all match.Wide variety of uses for these from pergola/gazebo, deck posts/railings, tree houses, mailbox post, fence posts, sheds/building foundation... I'll be using some of these to build a new foundation for a nice plastic storage shed that has to be moved because the old foundation is rotten. Mom and bob put it in years ago and they thought because they used pressure treated lumber it was ok for it to be in contact with the ground. I'll set them on cement blocks but I don't want it raised up much because we'll be using it to store the riding mower and snow blower in, I'll need a ramp too.For the regular price $35.99 per the listing for the 4 pack of 4 X 4 post bases I think is a great buy!As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

We got these for supporting posts for sun shades, they are very durable and the powder coat isn't paper thin like some others that we have gotten. I wish the base was a bit wider as I had to use a couple adapters to get my impact on the lags but my impact is a beefy guy so others might be fine. Over all I am very happy with them!

Good price, Little soft dont over tighten your fasteners or youll dimple the steel and cause paint to peel and chip.
