I purchased 2 24V batteries. This charged well. I put both into Snowjoe blower and it ran a short time. I found one of the batteries had a jammed plastic latch. They worker better in second attempt after unjamming and recharging. This is a little frustrating when working at 8 degrees F, needing to remove gloves. The original snowJoe batteries worked more smoothly.

Bought this as an extra battery for my Voltask Snow Shovel. It only lasted about 3 passes down the driveway before dying while my original 4.0 AH battery made it at least a dozen passes. I contacted Amazon for a replacement and received it the next day. It snowed again overnight so I had the chance to try it out. I was able to clear the entire driveway and sidewalks on one charge with power left over. If you don't get a defective one, I'd highly recommend.

After using gasoline snowblowers for decades, and getting tired of maintenance issues, I switched to a SnowJoe battery powered snowblower last year. I purchased these 7.5Amp batteries to work in that snowblower. Being elderly, my neighbor actually tried using the batteries. At first he reported that they did not work. But, after testing and finding each battery registered above 24.6 volts, I tried installing the batteries again when he returned the snowblower. It turned out that the fit is very tight; but, the batteries do fit with some attention and do, in fact, work. The big expense in using a cordless snowblower is battery cost. So, they fact that these batteries can be used is a huge benefit.I need to point out that when it first appeared that the batteries might not work, I contacted the vendor and immediately received excellent communication and help. I am buying more.

I was hoping to use this with my snow thrower. My genuine Snow Joe 8Ah batteries work reasonably well with it, but do heat up. I also have some Snow Joe 4Ah batteries and those can't seem to put out the amount of power required. These batteries also can't seem to put up the power required. It didn't sound right, and stopped running after a few feet, with about 2" of snow on the ground. One of the 2 batteries had its tester button stuck, so pressing it didn't do anything. I was a bit concerned it would drain the cells prematurely, so I opened up the battery. I was able to fix the tester button, so it works now. However, while I had it open, I saw 12 18650 cells. 2 parallel strings of 6 cells in series. The cells were labeled 2500mAh making this a 5Ah battery, rather than the claimed 7.5Ah. It also explains it's poor performance. Also, didn't work in the Sun Joe 300w inverter. Also, wouldn't run the 16" chainsaw, it'd keep on starting and stopping the chain, even before attempting to cut anything.

I took away one star as it took a long time for the original first charge of the battery. Haven't used it yet because of the weather but I bought it because of the price. I thought it would be a good value. However as I plugged it in for the first initial charge it took hours and hours to fill to capacity. I hope that is not indicative of how long subsequent charges will take. I would say that the initial charge took about 8 hours.
