LENSKINS MRC ND64 Filter

  • ND filter is a type of grey filter that easily attaches to a camera lens, to control how much light enters the camera’s sensor. Since Lenskins neutral density filter is neutral, it doesn’t have any impact on image colour, contrast or sharpness.
  • By reducing or blocking out light to your camera lens, a neutral density filter lets you manipulate your photos to achieve really creative results.

  • Designed for all lenses with 58mm/67mm/77mm/82mm filter size; ideal for taking images and videos on rivers, waterfalls, the sea, fountains, traffic trials, and other moving subjects.
  • Featuring premium optical glass, 16-layer nano-coatings with 0.1% minimum light reflectance, the filter blocks out ultraviolet rays to reduce flare and ghosting while retaining accurate color rendition.

Specifications

  • Filter Type: Variable neutral density filter
  • Filter Diameter: 58mm/67mm/77mm/82mm
  • Material: Optical glass, aluminum alloy
  • Package Contents:1 x ND Filter,1 x Cleaning Cloth

  • Reduces the amount of light passing through the lens without affecting the color. Ideal for reducing bright light in large aperture situations when a narrow depth field is needed. Neutral Density Filters are often used to achieve motion blur effects with slow shutter speeds.
  • The light reduction is even across the visible spectrum (or it should be). With less light reaching the imaging sensor, a longer exposure or a wider aperture can be used , which can avoid the effects of diffraction or to achieve a shallow depth of field under even full sunlight.

Multi-Resistant Coated

Features precisely German SCHOTT B270 Glass with 16 Layer Multi-resistant Coated to significantly reduce lens flare and ghosting All these fantastic attributes are essential for working effectively outdoors.

I use this in pair with my Fuji xt4 with wide variety of lenses, I love the slick design and overall image quality. I can say that you can't beat this quality within this price range. It even outperforms high end ND that I compared this item with.

Tested this on my sony A7iii with 24-105 lens and compared image quality with and without the filter, didn't find any loss in sharpness or colour.

I purchased this filter to allow me to use normal flash sync speeds (1/250 sec) with wide aperture ‘portrait’ lenses (e.g. 85mm f/1.4). This filter is great for this purpose and does not have any noticeable flaws to note. The multi-coating seems nice and reduces flare, there is no significant color cast, and most importantly it does not affect the focusing on my Canon R5. Variable ND filters I have tried all cause minor focusing issues that may be acceptable for landscape photography but renders wide-aperture portrait images unusable (due to shallow depth of field). Highly recommended

This was my second purchase for a neutral density (ND) filter for long exposures and I was very happy with the quality. And while it would be easier to have a magnetic attachment for ease of use in the field, my budget does not allow for that. This fits my 77mm lens perfectly, is easy to attach and detach and the quality of the long exposure photo is good (though photos tend to be a bit blue and easily correctable in editing software). I would recommend using this brand ND filter, have also purchased an additional ND in a 10 stop and am happy with the results.

To be honest, I was a little hesitant to buy such an inexpensive filter (comparatively to other name-brand filters) - but this filter did not disappoint! I tested the picture quality with and without the filter, and I didn't notice any notable degradation in the image quality. Image remained sharp, there was no significant color-cast, or any cross-pattern effects. If you're interested in ND filters for long exposures, etc., I would definitely recommend this filter!

So far so good, I don't typically review products but I really felt as though others should know about this. For the price of the 82mm I genuinely didn't expect it to be good and was betting on probably needing to return it.The first impressions instantly proved me wrong, the filter looks feels like top notch quality when you open the package, the was no issues trying to tread it onto my lens, I ordered this for use with Video and so far there seems to be no weird color shift and if there is, I just haven't noticed it yet. This filter is incredible and given its price I know I almost passed on it thinking it has to be flawed but I'm really glad I decided to give it a try.I'm go to look at the other offerings from this brand and give them a try as well, but for now I would 100% recommend this filter.

I already have the 10 stop Lenskins filter and decided to try this 6 stop. I really like it. It's much easier to compose a shot than the 10, which I knew already, but for quick changing light it's great for moving around and not having to remove the filter to reframe the shot. I've taken pictures with this and without it for the same picture, and do not see any color differences. Threads nicely onto the lens, and comes in a nice padded holder. I can't compare it to high end filters, but it works great for me. The attached photo is 8 seconds exposure at golden hour with bright skies.

I use this with my Tamron 28-75 for Sony a7iii - the primary purpose is for shooting 24fps video with 180(ish) rule for shutter speed (and some occasional long exposure shots).. i also have a 3 stop ND, so if it's still too bright I can throw that on too (i live in south Florida, so the sun can be pretty bright quite often).. ideally I'd have a high quality variable ND but just can't spend the extra $ on it just yet.. this ND has served its purpose quite well, it feels good, looks good, and makes my vids (and photos) look like they should. I haven't experienced any problems yet and am quite satisfied with the quality this filter brings at such a reasonable price. Also a plus that it comes with a case and lens cloth, can't be mad with this purchase
