Mounted on one side of a 15’ chain link gate in a gravel lot. Mount is great, spins freely. The wheel is junk. Looks like a racing slick after 2 weeks.

I have a 12 ft wide gate on the side of my house that has been a pain to open and close ever since I moved into this house. I purchased this wheel as a way of allowing me to open and close the gate with less effort. When I purchased this wheel I knew it would make opening the gate easier, but I figured there would still be some effort required. Imagine my surprise after installing this when opening and closing such a big gate takes little to no effort! Installation was very easy, just a couple of bolts that needed to be connected and the wheel was ready to use!

This wheel we attached at a second wheel on our entrance gate and it works WONDERS! It hasn't failed us yet and it's been about 5 months and 3 of which was in snow. It hasn't froze or been hard to use. I highly recommend for thos all weather project needs.

This gets stuck in one position, and will not rotate on its axis. The wheel rolls fine, but the spring loaded portion gets stuck. At least it holds my gate up...

This wheel attaches easily enough, but the spring part isn't as flexible as I expected it would be. It is being used for a new gate install, so I don't have an old one to compare it to. The spring doesn't seem like it will move over surfaces of vast height differences. I've not looked at it to see if that is adjustable at all because the area our gate rolls over is fairly level pasture. For our purposes, the wheel works fine and seems like it will hold up well for a long time.
