These would work great for the intended use of storing tools, but I have been using them for photography. They’ve worked great for my purposes and the quality is really nice. They’re packaged well and can be cut to size as needed. I would highly recommend these.

My central air went out and I have been running multiple multiple AC units in the house. In my living room I added a couple of these to the sides and underneath to help insulate around the unit and they work great.I haven't conducted any tests or anything like that but they make me feel better knowing that when I run my air conditioner that the cold air isn't just escaping through the sides and bottom as fast.

It is perfect because I was able to place in a box and make sure my toner printer was safe. Perfect size BUT I wouldn't recommend try to cut them

I needed to redo the foam in my rifle case to protect the scope and other high priced items inside. I ordered this foam thinking it was "just going to be good enough" for me to use until I found something better later on. I was wrong! This foam is very good quality and was very easy to cut with a hot knife for clean edges. You must know this is NOT pluck foam, so if you are looking for that you need to skip this item. If you are looking to protect your items, then this is the foam for your needs. The foam will arrive compressed but you just need to open them up and let them sit for at least a day to get full expansion BEFORE cutting to size. I plan to use a rubber coating on the surfaces to help repel liquids and hopefully this foam will hold it well. I will update my review if it does not. The size of this foam is a good size for most general uses, and at 1in thick, will offer some decent protection. 100% satisfied and highly recommend!
