I've gotten really into micro SD storage, especially for backing up compressed files for storage when cloud providers seem increasingly unreliable. I love that I can fill this up, toss it in my Jeep's glove box, and know that I have a secured local copy of important files and family photos. Plus, this gives major GameBoy 90s vibes. I'd like to own this in more transparent colors!

I got this because I was backpacking across Japan for a month and I needed a case to hold the micro sd cards in that hold all my media for watching on the plane or train. because micro sd cards are so small I didn't want to run the risk of an sd card falling out while I was in the middle of a 12 hour flight and trying to locate it. They definitely felt secure and were easy to get out and put back in the case.When backpacking every gram of weight is a gram of dead weight, if it's not frequently used. Because I was only using them on the flights to and from Japan and the occasionally long train ride I had to eat the weight and I tried a light weight plastic case but they never stayed secure so I decided I rather have peace of mind and went with this case. I don't regret it at all.

I got this to transport my tiny SD card from my car’s dash cam to inside so I can download video. The card is so small I would probably lose it in my pocket. This helps give it some volume so I don’t lose it. I also store my standard size adapter in there.The hanging chain goes where I hang my keys so I don’t forget to bring it back out in the morning.
