Good size blocks. They arrived in really good shape. They soak up water pretty good. I did a test run for some floral arrangements I’m doing. The flowers lasted a week. I did water them once in that week. I like that I can cute this in the shape I need them.

Let me tell you, these floral foam blocks are less "floral foam" and more "floral fortress." I expected something delicate, something... floral. Instead, I received eight little green monoliths that could probably withstand a small-scale siege. My artificial flowers? They're not just in these blocks, they're imprisoned. They're held captive, their plastic stems stubbornly resisting the tyrannical grip of the surprisingly dense foam.I tried to gently insert a particularly flamboyant fuchsia, but it met with resistance worthy of a particularly stubborn badger. I then resorted to tactical insertion, employing a combination of brute force and nuanced twisting. The fuchsia surrendered, but not without a valiant struggle. These things are indestructible. I'm pretty sure I could build a small, yet surprisingly sturdy, wall with these. My cat would be impressed. Which means I’m impressed. So, yeah, five stars. If you're looking for a way to hold your artificial flowers hostage, then look no further. If you want something a little less... committed, you might want to consider a less aggressively supportive foam. But if you want to send a subtle message to your faux flora – “You are MINE” – then these are your weapons of choice.

Great as always, these are perfect for fresh flower arrangements. Cut them to the size of your vase, let them fill up with water so that they're heavy, and then do your arrangements. I have relied on these for years, and I always keep them around the house in case I decide to buy a bouquet of flowers for arranging. The water will last a couple of days, but you can add water to it again and it'll keep your arrangements in place for as long as they stay alive.

These are nicely thick and sturdy foam blocks that are good for both real and artificial floral arrangements. They hold stems in place well and can be shaped to fit differently sized containers.
