These are very durable and look to be excellent quality. The case is not cheap either and should last as long as the tools. This is important so that these don't end up in a loose drawer down the road. I know right where they all are when I need them. These are 1/2" drive which is what you need when working on the suspension. The open sockets should also be good for oxygen sensors too. Very nice product and makes a solid addition to my automotive tool set.

The case it arrives in is okay at best, plastic everything. No label on case to let you know what's in it.Provided foam is good enough to hold sockets in place.Sockets appear to be at least decent quality. No dents, rough spots, defects or anything that looks abnormal.Probably good enough for someone who works on cars here and there. In addition to working on cars that are not rusty. If you need precision and sockets that are as strong as can be, this isn't it.Keep in mind this is missing 17mm which may be needed depending on your vehicle.I got this mainly for the spreader sockets as that's an interesting tool. I have a better brand name set that I will use and if I run into any fitment issues, I can try using this. Good to have options.

The sockets help you deal with recessed top nuts and the need to simultaneously use a combination wrench or allen wrench to stop shaft rotation. The spreader opens the cut on the knuckle to allow strut tube removal and replacement. I have done this without special tools... but it is so much easier with this set! Quality is sufficient for occasional DIY and maybe for pro use.

Specialty sockets with an access hole in the side, work well for properly nuttin your strut. At this price-point, we expect this kit to nut a lotta struts over the years ahead - time and usage being the ultimate proof of this expectation.

This set of strut nuts comes in a thick and durable carrying case and the sockets are impact tool compatible. The measurements stated were accurate when my husband did a comparison test and was also impressed by the quality of the metal. This would make a nice gift for any “shade tree” (hobbyist) mechanic and as a starter set.

I needed to replace the 2bd O2 sensor on my 4Runner. This did the trick, but the lack of a slot through the socket made it a bit of a hassle. You have to turn so many times before it's easier to remove the socket and hand screw out. Still, it came with everything I needed. I'll be doing the struts next week, so the splitter socket will come in handy. Recommend.

I've replaced a ton of struts in my life and this would've saved me some heartache. One of the most often-overlooked tasks is loosening the nut on the strut's shaft. A hard pull on the wrench and you'll find the shaft spinning right along with it. Without an impact you'll be trying to MacGyver something with spark plug sockets and hex keys. These sockets are well formed and work perfectly. I haven't used the strut spreader (my MacPherson struts bolt on), but the sockets do the job well.
